Default What weight oil...

I was wondering I read where someone uses 20/50 synthetic in there Ls1 is this a good weight oil to use!!

I currently am useing 0/40 weight right now...

Any ideas anyone what is a good weight oil to use..

I use the Mobil 0-40, and am happy with it. 20-50 is just way too thick for a stock clearance engine.

i use what gm recommends 5w30. the pennzoil synthetic is what i use and i like it alot better than the mobil 1 that i use to run in it.

its been recomended to use a certain weight oil by your location and by the way you use your car. like warm climate or a colder will use diff viscosity's. and if you race a lot there are race blends. im sure there is a right up on which to use for your area and usage.

I have much better oil pressure with the 0w30 castrol than with mobil one 5w30 for whatever reason.
