Default Daily Driver - Bolt-On's?

Alright, I've searched and have done my reading, but I want your guy's opinions.

My buddy has an 02' SS M6. It currently has an SLP cat-back, SLP Lid, and a Hurst Short Throw. The car is too slow for him and he's wanting some more power, BUT on a limited income basis.

I've searched and have come up with this:

160* Thermostat
Cheaper Headers
Rear o2 delete w/ tune
AIR Delete w/ tune
EGR Delete w/ tune
Ported & Polised Throttle Body
Ported & Polished Intake
Single Exhaust Cut-Out
Walbro Pump
Underdrive Pulley.

Now, are these what he'd be good with on a daily driver? and would they push the most for the buck besides some n2o?

Thanks guys!

dont buy a fuel pump or thermostat. you can port and polish the tb and intake yourself. tb is the only thing i would do. dont get the cheapest headers you see. lpp are cheaper and are stainless. some drag radials would be good.

That would be fine and fun for a daily. Possible gears pending on trans.

Since hes got a catback, I wouldnt bother with the cut-out...

EDIT: See its an M6.

I drive mine 500 miles a week and it's fully modded and still bringing down over 20 mpg. I'd tell him to go for it but don't cheap out on the headers.

Well he needs a pump because his is going. So I threw that into the mix. Yea, we won't go with say an Ebay header, we'll go with name brand, but cheaper.

depending on exactly how tight the budget is...you could easily do without the UDP.

yeah you may gain 5hp...but for the $200-300 it could be spent elsewhere.

I'd probably just get some pace setter lt's. On my lt1 camaro they seemed to do really good and the coat on them was pretty good too.

Well with that then we'll go with a 4.10.

i'd skip the 160* thermostat and since it's an 02 the car doesn't have an EGR.
