TSP true duals with the 12" bullets. Sounds mean as hell, but wakes the nerighbors, sets off car alarms, and attracts cops. I am looking into ways to quieten it down. Thinkin bout swapping the mufflers to sweet thunder 18".

doug's longtubes, 2.25"duals into flowtech terminator mufflers, exit out the back

It's very quiet compared to most, but deep. Gets decently loud at wot and picks up a hair of rasp, but in a good way.

I'll try to get some videos later all I have now is a video of open cutouts

On the street I switch between a 3" Dynomax bullet w/turndown in the stock location (loud as funk) and a Hooker muffler w/turdowns, which quiets it down alot but is still aggressive. Honestly after you get used to the Hooker it sounds loud and when I switch back to the bullet it's like WTF! At the track it's dual 3" cutouts on the y-pipe, lol. TR230 likes minimal exhaust in my experience.

Larry

Edit: Forgot the rest haha. Edelbrock stepped headers, 3" y-pipe, 3" I-pipe. Used to use Hooker LTs and they sounded a *little* more high pitched when compared to the Edels.

That's my old setup...it was extremely loud. I now run SLP Dual/Dual that I found brand new . I also run a DMH E-cutout and it's truly the best of both worlds. It's quiet and very tame when I want it that way (very rarely ), and loud and obnoxious when the cutout is open....the cam also sounds amamzing when the cutout is open. This way, I can be loud most of the time, but turn it down when the need arises or I'm just wanting to give my ears a break. My best times were with this current setup....it pulls significantly harder than it did with the duals.

What LSA did you go with? Did emissions play a factor in what you went with. Just curious. I love this cam. Im debating about getting it this summer. Did you or will you upgrade the springs and push rods?

That stinks, especially after you just made a post about possibally making it a little more quiet. Did you take what they said to heart? I would love to hear your set up, do you have any vids on it? LOL, I didnt know GA cops were hard asses.

mine is technically not a tr230 but its the same thing ground on comp lobes for the same lift, just less aggressive in getting to that lift from what I've read...but its on the same 111+3 lsa

has an aggressive idle, but my exhaust is really quiet for duals...but idling warm it lopes really nice and makes the car shake pretty good, I like it
