Default 2 questions about purchase.

Alright so I have done the research into getting an electric cutout thanks to the search function on here but am still left with 2 questions:

Firstly, I'm getting this cutout:

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1190

I'm assuming the wiring pictured there is included and that I won't have to order any additional parts? If I do need to..which ones?

Secondly, Where am I to install this? Is it up to my discretion or are there recommended areas? I'm assuming on the I-pipe.

Thanks for any help guys.

I would personally get a DMH e-cutout. www.not-a-sponsor.com and get the 3" e-cutout. the reason that i say that is b/c DMH has a 4 yr warranty on the motor where as QTP does not.

Both the QTP and DMH are complete. All you need to do is wire it up, and get it welded in.. You are going to want to install it in the I pipe, right under the rear passanger seat. There is like a little cubby hole for it. Perfect fit.

also one more thing, my combo is the DMH e-cut and i also bought this SS collector from WS6 store. Which is the best store is the world

I wouldn't buy a QTP E-cutout. Their motors tend to take a dump real quick. Go with a DMH e-cutout. DMH has a 4 year warranty on their cutout. You will need to buy a cutout if you don't already have one. The e-cutouts come with everything you need to install them.

The best place to install a cutout is behind the passenger side seat. There's an opening perfect for a cutout. You'll know what I'm talking about when you have your car on a lift.

Thanks to both of you! That answers everything. Better suggestion too thanks, for some reason I couldn't think of the name haha.

Yes I know where on the I-pipe to do it. Thankfully I have the entire week off to do this

Hey man not a problem, glad we are able to help you out. DMH is jsut a much better e-cutout, and like i said, get the SS collector from WS6 store, Mike will hook you up!!!! Again you will need a 3" E-cutout. the SS collector will fit the DMH one no problems.

I actually have just 1 more question.

On the DMH site, when ordering online they ask for an approximate cable length needed.

Any suggestions on that? I know it depends on where I put the switch but..I'm not picky at all about where it goes so a suggestion on that would be great.

I never knew taht was an option. But it is always safer to order more cable then needed. Rather have to much cable then not enough

again when purchasing teh DMH 3" E-cutout purchase it at the $179 price. Again you will not get the collector, that is why i posted the link to WS6 store to buy the QTP SS collector

I have a QTP. And its great. I would not take advice from people that give opinions and not facts. DMH so called warranty is worthless when ya cant get him to answer emails and the phone.

Take it from me. I own a DMH, never owned a QTP. My motor went out, called DMH and Dave picked up 3rd ring. Told what happened sent it to him got it fixed.

I know of a couple of local f body owners that had a hard time getting in touch with them. They all switched.

DMH is the ****. The quality and warranty is top notch. Not to mention the power and speed of the motor. Mine opens all the way in 2 seconds...and that is no exaggeration. Back me up Torchd??

I agree with you 100%, they have the best cutout on the market and it makes them better that they have the 4 yr warranty. as far as opening goes, yes Raise is not kidding, it open that quick
