Porting LS6 Intake
i know sponsors porting FAST intakes, and ive heard of ported LS6 intakes... due to funds, ill go with the latter
LS6's go for 300 but i havent seen a ported one for a while.. so how do you do it?
i have a dremel, i just dont know what needs to be ported
if anyone has pictures of how to do it, ideas, walk through, anything?
not sure there is much to really port....other than maybe opening up the mouth to allow for an 80mm TB.
keep it stock or go FAST

ported the fast don't have much competition.
i wouldn't bother messing with the ls6....and even the ported ls2 intakes are just keeping up with the ls6 i think.

i bought a ls2 and am going to run it look at this article and compare the ls2 to the 90mm ls6 tpis does (keep in mind the ls2 is unported and no tune changes when they swaped intakes)
http://www.tpis.com/index.php?module=2_17_06
what i noticed is the 85mm TBs are only 160... sell my pp 78mm for say 60 and itll only cost me 100.... BUT can the ls6 intake be ported enough to accept an 85mm tb?

as for your realization on the "cost" to run the 90......thats kindda been our point all along.
its just not that "cheap" of a mod.
might as well just save up a little longer and get the FAST
the only reason its not as "cheap" as most would like it to be is ecause of the TB, ported ls2 can be had for under $400... TB alone costs 300+...... UNLESS an 85mm can be ported to 90 hmmmmm
since the TPIS 90mm LS6 is making good power and its only a 5mm difference again If I had an Ls6 intake I would try this mod I'm not trying to push this mod on anyone just throwing another option out there.
