which intake? LS6 or Performance products
I have an LS6 intake and a polished Professional Products intake. I plan on using a 76mm turbo at 17psi so the aluminum would be nice for the pressure but will tend to heat soak. What do you guys think?

are you talking about the "professional" products typhoon intake?
Dyno is for a small H/C car, going with a turbo, i'm sure you'd get even better gain over the LS6.
LS6 < PP Typhoon

I think with a turbo setup you could run a home made intake and probably still net good power, but on the dyno I have heard of a few local guys getting a tune done with the PP intakes and losing power from what the LS6 made on the cars. I don't really see heatsoak as a problem in the aluminum intakes in normal driving and real world situations. Have you checked out the BBK SSI I installed one on a guys car and they are of really good quality plus with the removable base plate they can be custom ported inside as well. Fast might make good power I don't have one and never will there are plenty of other ways to make power with that much money.

From what I hear, those have leaking issues with the intake itself, and the fuel rails. And they dont make the power that an ls6 makes. And they get heat soak obviously and that would be more of a problem on a turbo'd car I would imagine. Thats just all I hear though, dont have any experience with it personally. I do know they have a hell of a deal on their intake/fuel rail/tb from the website!
