I would say that fuel rail hooks up the same i duno havn't got one yet it sounds cheaper to buy katech's spacer and go with your ls1 rail so ya dont have to buy the ls2 harness for 100 and buy a ls2 fuel rail unless ya already got one....the ls2 runners on the intake are taller thats why ya need the ls2 rail or space them or ive herd of ppl bending there ls1 rail and getting it to work but if you bent it wouldn't ya think it would draw the rails closer to each other when ya think about it

If it was a direct swap i could see doing it, but after all the other stuff you might as well go ls6 or aftermarket.

do you think my ls1 injectors will work in the ls2 intake. they seem to fit okay but i won't know untill I put it on the car to see if it leaks fuel or air. Can they be refitted with new o rings

I'm not arguing this, only posting info. Check out this link and read graph #4, the LS2 intake vs LS6 intake on an LS2 engine.

4.maf wire extender $25 (cause the maf is in the front instead of the back)
http://store.katechengines.com/share...ount2=33332467

I think you guys mean MAP not MAF Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor thats on the intake its self the MAF Mass Air Flow sensor is the one thats in front of the TB after the lid.

What the OP mainly concern is how it works on a 5.7L LS1 engine. The 6.0L LS2 engine will be a different measure. I'm kinda on the same boat as the OP. I really wanna know how it work out.

you can get a fast 90 for around 500 used. A lot less hassle. Plus after you buy the intake and the little stuff you need for the swap, get it ported etc., your going to be spending about the same.

you dont have to buy injectors with a fast. I got mine with a throttle body for 750 on the classifieds here. I think your math is a little off too, 50 bucks for everything to do the swap? One of pieces you listed was 70 by itself.
