Shorties are not worth the time. Go for a set of long tubes.

if you do decide to go with shorties however, get the BBK's, they are 1-3/4 like the LT's, all of the other shorties are 1-5/8

Forget shorties. Go for Mac midlengths or Long tubes. Like Wilwaxu said, don't waste your time with shorties.

I received my Pacesetter long tubes today and they look great. For the price of these, you wouldn't be disappointed. Probably cheaper than most shorties.

If i get the pacesetter headers what y-pipe and high flow cats will fit that because some say like bassani's y-pipe only fits bassanis headers what system will fit pacesetters

If you want to spend some extra money I would go with the FLP's, they come with ORP's and cats, so you can switch with the clamps...also comes with a Y-pipe....

LT's and don't look back. FLP or Thunder Racing. Pacesetters are a great deal for the money, but remember you get what you pay for. Drop your emissions while you're at it! !EGR, !AIR, and hollowed out cats.

My vote goes for the LT. BTW, I have not seen any dyno proof that shows ANY difference in the FLP, Thunder, QTP over the Pacesetters.

FWIW, in my opinion, the Eldebrock headers are the best bang for the buck, especially on a H&C car, or any car using nitrous. $$ is close to the Pacesetters. Stepped header, that also comes with a Merged 3.5" race collector!

I just bought a pair for my car & will test them over the Grotts (same as Thunder & QTP).

Stay away from SLP. Way overpriced. One thing for sure is that headers are going to get banged up, they are going to get scratched up, they are going to loose their coating, over time. If performance is similar, why would anyone spend hundreds more?

Also, when you compare what one person gains over another header, ask if they took AF readings, & if they compared gains/losses by "adjusted" AF readings. This should be all that you are concerned with. My .02.
