Meziere EWP. I have had mine since 2006 and no issues at all. I liked it so much I re used it on my new 402. Engine runs cooler, and never even comes close to overheating no matter what the weather conditions are. EWP's are at max flow in stand still traffic, and with a proper fan re program you will never get over 195 even in 100 degree temps sitting in traffic with the a/c on. I know for a fact, I got caugt in those conditions and had no issues.

EWP's are about the last bolton. A little expensive for what you get hp wise, but they do help increase fuel economy by reducing load on your engine. If you take your car on trips like I do, fuel economy when its good can be your best friend.

Couldn't tell you for sure. It went on with afr 205 heads, and a ud pully. I did jump from 400 rwhp 380 rwtq (g5x3 cam only) to 457 rwhp and 421 rwtq. So the package picked up 57 rwhp and 41 rwtq. Best I can tell you bro.

Cruising at 70 mph in 6th gear, all freeway, no stopping at all. I was coming from LG Motorsports in 2006 and that was with the 346, not the new 402. I'll update you as to how the 402 does on the drive home.

I fly down in a few weeks. Can't get a cheap ticket, and I am broke. I also can't get the days off from work. Be sure to check for a new thread about my first impressions and the drive home.

There are 2 types and one is for all out race and not made for daily driving. The Meziere pump I bought 5-6 yrs ago is for street cars and has done me alright through some hot summers here in Kansas.I don't know about anybody else but I have had no complaints and hp gain is from what I've read and been told is 8-12. As far as gas goes I don't know as I think the car sucks it down like my old '68 375 hp SS Chevelle.

put one on my car in january.
car runs good and cool in florida heat. although it hasn't gotten REALLY warm yet.
did notice it takes longer to warm up when the temps are <60*, but that's expected. you could easily just put a smaller bypass hole in the thermostat, or run a warmer stat, something like a 180 instead of the 160 that i run.
only reason i went with the 160 was that i'll basically never run the car in less than about 50* weather, it just doesn't get THAT cold here in south florida. if i were to move someplace cooler, i'd swap the stat.
install was pretty easy, ls1howto has a good writeup, although the wiring directions are wrong.
do a search for my post on the install...put my tips and hints down.
i guess i don't see why you WOULDN'T run it in a DD street car.
only thing i can think of is the chance for failure. which is possible with any mechanical or electrical piece of equipment.
they are rated for something like 3000 hours or more...so if you figure you average 50miles per hour of driving...that's 150K miles. hell mechanical pumps don't last that long sometimes.
