Default Which lids do NOT hit a factory SS hood?

Looking to get a lid, but it is a factory SS, I heard there were alot of clearance issues with them. I dont want to have ANY issues.

I had an SLP lid. Did not rub on the neck, but it seems to be either hit or miss with lids. Why are you getting rid of the stock setup?

SLP Blackwing is good, but you probably don't
want to throw that kind of money at a lid.

The SLP rubbed on my SS hood. The 85mm FTP rubbed real bad, got a couple of friends that have MTI's and they seem to have better clearance. That's what I have now, no Problems with it.

My SLP rubs on my VFN WS6 hood with the taller lower airbox. Didn't on the standard hood/airbox setup.

You can loosen your hood latch bolts to bring it a little higher so it does not rub your lid.

depends on if you have it hooked up to the TB with a smooth bellows or the stocker. Stockers usually wont rub, a smooth bellows needs to be trimmed just right so it doesnt push the lid up and cause it to rub the hood.

True, It's usually the installation problem, not the lid.
