Since my car threw a rod I figured I would take the heads off to see if they are damaged. Well Im trying to disconnet the three hoses coming out of the passenger side of the water pump and cant get the stupid hose clamps off. Ive tried vice grips, plyers, adjustable wrenches with no luck. I went to Sears and looked for a hose clamp too but the only one they had worked for older style hose clamps like the ones on the Chevelle. Anybody know where I can get one that works for hose clamps that are on our cars?

I used a pair of vise grips opened all the way up, then replaced the clamp with a worm-style hose clamp, so it only takes a screwdriver from now on.
