Default Dynomax Bullets, how loud???

I just got a Lanes dual system and it has Dynomax bullets on it. The are the ones that are hollow though.. . Its kinda got me scared that the car is going to be too loud, especially considering I got pulled over once for just having my cut out open. So, how loud are they in comparison to an open cutout? Should I just go ahead and buy some of that packing from Summit and get it over with or do you guys think I will be ok??

Also curious. Going true duals this weekend and my muffler choice was the Dynamax bullets.

This is a single DynoMax bullet dumped on the end of a Pacesetter Y-pipe.

Well, I'm really not trying to sound like a smart *** but I can't tell a thing from a you-tube video.. . I know that the car will definately sound better, as far as quality, with the duals. I'm just wanting to know what is louder.

^^ You said night and day difference.. How?

i have true duals with dynomax bullets and it sounds sick, acceleration and WOT are awesome and even decleration it has that nice deep rumble, but not raspy.

shakes the whole house when it is in the garage. neighbors will hate you. I coast down the street when returning home to lower the sound. When I see a cop, I shift into neutral.

So what would be a better "Rumble" deep tone..Dynomax Bullets, Magnaflow Bullets, or Sweet thunder?

id say on a scale of 1 to 10 the cutout was an 8 and the bullets are about a 5. the bullets have more rumble to me at idle, very bassie, if that makes sense. they shake my body when standing next to the car but as far as "loud" they arent. i guess its in the tone. the best way of explaining it is that they just rumble at idle and have a smooth scream at WOT. i also have mine on an H pipe so im sure that deepens it up a lil bit, an X might make it a hair louder and maybe not quite as deep but still should sound great.

Thats the kind of reply I was looking for. Thanks alot stang, lot of info in there.

Another quick question though before I have these things installed. Are you talking about the ones that are hollow? My tuner said that there are 2 types. One hollow and one that is more of a muffler style..

Dynomax bullets are a lot quieter than a cutout even though you wouldent think it by looking at them especially at idle and part throttle. At full throttle the dynomaxs are still pretty damn loud.
