A/c question
A/c question My AC hasnt worked in years, ever since i replaced my cd player. I have decided to fix it. I removed the cd player and a random black wire is cut, i cant find the other end of it, where might this go. Here is the problem I am having:
When I cut my AC on no matter which position and which setting hott/cold or speed the air comes out at the AC blows out the top and floor board only warm air. I have tried charging it, no joy. Also, I think there is a ground in my car cause if i dont crank it up after a week it is dead. Any help? Thanks

i am told that is a vaccum issue, like a hose is disconnected. sounds like a simple fix. 2 cars around here have the same issue, one being mine that i have never tried or had time to fix.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. We've been doing renovations and a lot of stuff is in storage. I can't find the manuals but will keep on looking.
I'm pretty sure that black wire is a ground to your AC control module or whatever they call it. Too much of a coincidence with this happening after fiddling around back there. Do you have a mechanics mirror? If so take out your deck and bezal and look around behind your ac controls.
