What's with the rolling eyes? Go to a junkyard, find a 6.0 truck motor that's still intact, disconnect the the coil pack from the pcm, it's a single connecter, then unbolt the whole bracket assembly. Now you have the coils, the wiring harness, and the coils ready to bolt onto your car. If you still have the stock fuel rail, you'll have to adjust where it connects to the line from the tank.
I'm guessing you haven't done many mods to your car if this seems like a big deal to you.

The thing about most salvage yards is they won't let you just pull parts anymore...Especially off the engine...If I knew I could sell simple stuff like the valve covers and rockers etc I'd be pulling those parts too...

I sent a question to Accel:
Sirs, Do you have any documentation or voltage/miliamp output comparason between your LS1 truck super coil part number 140040 and the stock GM truck coil (10457730 / AC D585) it replaces?
Their response was:
All that we where given is our coils are 15% hotter then OEM

UUMM, fellers, the truck coil with the heat sink on the back is the one shown to provide better spark power and better HP/TQ numbers. Your "favorite" because of it's size/shape/fitability is not the point of the thread discussion. It's about what makes the most power.

that, good sir, is a fine Idea. Ive never dealt with TSP, anybody who has good report with them mind asking? An engine dyno is the best way. back to back runs, easy to make changes, and nothing to skew the numbers.

Also, couldn't bending the stock fuel inlet line and relocating the solenoid be avoided if I made/used some spacer tabs? I have a buddy that is an excellent machinst (works in a machine shop) and I think it would be simple for him to make me some short tabs with a hole top and bottom to mount the truck coil bracket at the same height that the stock LS1 coil bracket mounts. In other words, space them down so no other mods have to be made for them to fit.
How much higher do the truck coils sit? Seems like not even an inch? Also it looks like this would only need to be done on the driver's side.
