LS6 vs BBK intake?

LS6 vs BBK intake?
I am getting a BBK SSI intake from a member on here, I have an LS6 intake on the car now but its ugly as sin, someone tried to cut an EGR hole in it and failed miserably, so now I have this big epoxy and RTV mess on there to plug up the hole (couldn't beat the price though). My question is, will it make the same power? More or less? Its going on the car regardless I'm just curious. My mods:
03 LS6 stock longblock
224/224 cam
Pacesetter LT's
Port and polish MAF and TB
I am thinking it will stay about the same amount of power, any opinions?
EDIT: I had done a search but all I see is for stock LS1 motors and I'm making a bit more than that.

Well if you went FI and had Meth then it would be fine with the heatsoak or lack there of, but i didnt notice any gain with a ported BBK and 80mm BBK tbody over my ls6, so I went back to the good ol plastic. LS6 are very proven with high hp I would just stick with that. JMO

I would stay with the Ls6 intake with your setup, yesterday I was testing the Ls6 and the fast 78mm and the weind/Lingenfellter intake using a 78mm throttle body on a stock bottome end long tubes and a 228 228 cam and had better results with the Ls6 intake with that setup in rpm range of the cam.

There has to be like 7 votes to stay with the LS6! BBK<LS6. Dont waste your time with it. Sell the BBK on ebay and get more for it, since you got it so cheap. RSSS69 Knows his ****, I would listen to him and us others. RSSS69 probabley has been in on over a 100 LSx and LTX Engine Builds since I have known him. Smart Guy!!!

Other than everyone stating that the BBK will retain heat(which the OP knows already and didnt ask about) can anyone give him a real answer?
Will he lose power over the LS6?
I really dont think he will, from what I have researched on the intake he will either make the same power or gain a tiny amount.

After the intake and t body went back to the same dyno on a cooler day about 82 degrees dyno'd 312 hp and 330 tq so yes I did go backwards, this was after I had even iced the intake between runs and made 7 pulls since I couldnt believe it. this was the best pull even after a hour cool down.
Now if you got it cheap then by all means use it, and when you go FI then just get some meth on there and that will cool the intake to perform well.
I got my BBK off a guy in Arizona that was FI and he went 10s in 100 degree heat with it so it will work regardless, I just wouldnt use one again on a N/A setup but for FI hell yes its nice. Looks way better than the black plastic. Hope this helps out.

Before the BBK intake and tbody car with just bolt ons dyno'd 344 hp 360 tq at 5800ft elevation on a 90 degree day.

Anyways, I'm putting it on the car right now, I guess since only one guy had experience with it I will go and get it dyno'd this week and see what happens. No offense to RSSS69, not calling you a liar but LS1tech said I couldn't make 400rwhp with a 224 cam either so I'll give it a shot. It takes me 45 minutes at most to swap intakes so its not a big hassle if it doesn't pan out.

I'll let you know the results for sure, I'm going to try to set it up for this week I have to get the car set for 160* thermostat as well. From driving it right now SOTP tells me I gained something, I think you may have over-ported yours for your setup (I know mine is working off of high intake port velocity more than flow numbers). Curiously, my low-rpm surge seems to have gone away too.
