I got my M6 Z28 with 127,000 miles and still havn't gotten it dynoed, but when it was bone stock I routinley ran door-to-door with many other f-bodys with full exhaust, lid, tune. Now that I have all those I'd love to see her dyno'ed.
Hoping to get 350-360whp range.

hmm maybe i misunderstood the forum name but i thought he meant ls6 freaks. because on 25% of the 2002 trans am's came out with an ls6 block with ls1 internals, such as mine, there is little difference HP wise, the only thing is the block was sand casted

All these outrageous numbers sound good and all, but they can all pretty much be chalked up to one of two things: either a goofy dyno or flat-out lie. I mean come on, 370rwhp on a mustang dyno with just bolt-ons; 12.60's w/ just a K&N drop in; bone-stock/stock stalled A4 going 12's? I don't think i've seen so much B.S. in my life!

Call it all bs if ya want but I have done it and seen others do it also. All you need is a good track and good air, and some cars run better then others. In my case 12.90s 13.00s when stock in the fall is not hard to do. My 3200 vig. and drs. and little mods and a good tune is why my car ets so well. And I am fortunate to run at a '' fast track like atco ''. I'm sure there are other fast tracks across the country, either you do not run at one or you just weren't lucky enough to own a car built on a Wed!

Mine ran a 13.10 @ (I think) 105 mph. 100% bone stock, 1,400 miles on the car. All it had was a fresh oil change from when it was new. Took it to the track 1 month after I had it.
I thought that was pretty kickass until a guy in a SS ran a 12.95 right after me. He said it was bone stock but I have no idea if that was true.
Buddy of mine also had a 1998 bone stock WS6 that ran 13.1x's all night long too.
Winter time.

Its hallarious how extremely rare it is to a STOCK LS1 F-body break into the 12s; hell even that professional driver (I can't remember his name something like Evans or something) broke into the 12s but that was after multiple tries and I think it was barley into the 12s..like 12.8-12.9...man you can out drive HIM; YOU ARE SAWEEEET!

I can't say if mine qualifies but when I was shopping around for mine I drove probably 9-10 cars, mostly Z28's and a couple of SS's and mine felt noticeably stronger, one of the reasons I chose it.

my junk was super slow stock....had about a million miles when i got it though....it always responded well to mods though.....
before reading my times DO NOTE times were ran at bristol dragway...on a good day we are still a good .4 4mph slower than most any other dragstrip...
bone stock 98ta a4 153000miles missing and in open loop....14.5@98mph bout 4500 d/a
after a gear and most bolt ons 13.4@104
done a baby cam and stall went 12.8 @108 on a conservative n2o tune....
about a 90-100 rwhp shot the car went 11.7 @117 banging the limiter on every shift...
doing a d/a correction to sea level always knocked around .7 and 7mph to what i would run.....
our track is super slow...lol but the car always picked up what it should have mod for mod....
one of these days ill take it to a good fast track....

The day when I can call a bone-stock LS1 A4 F-body a 12-second car will be the day that hell freezes over! Seriously, I just can't see 12's getting done with stock 1600-rpm launches and no mods. No way, i'll never buy that.
It was Evan Smith. He wen't 12's bone-stock on two different occassions in two different cars; a '98 Z28 and '01 SS. He also wasn't the only one documented. GMHTP also wen't 12's in a stock LS1 Z.

The day that some dude comes to my local track and turns a 12.6 in a "STOCK" ls1 f-body...is the day that we all give our modded Ls1s away for free! No way...just not gonna happen. You're telling me that your "STOCK" ls1 will turn a 60ft and 1/4 mile ET of most Ls1s with cam, long tubes..hell some guys are even turning low 12s to mid 12s with H/Cs on street tire!
