Trying to install my 92mm FAST & nothing but problems
To make a long story short my 8 grey stock rubber intake seals off my LS6 intake are rectangle shaped and my new 92 FAST intake are square corners on the bottom but has a round top. So my grey seals are too big and they don't fit...So i was going to order the FAST red #54009-8 seals but the picture of them look like my stock ones that are rectangle........any help with this?????
Also, i ordered a Speed inc. GTO/Corvette fuel rail fitting install kit and i'm completely confused how i'm supposed to plumb my Speed inc. fuel rails since my fire wall won't let the fittings work.....

Your better off with a fresh set of FAST gaskets anyway. The FAST gaskets are actually a bit thicker and will provide a better seal and the price (25 bucks) cant be beat. Cant help with the fuel rail problem sorry.

i agree about the sealing of the new seals but i'm worried about the shape of the seal. the recess in the intake looks like the "cathedral" shape more than a rectangle and i'm just worried that the FAST seals won't fit this shape since they look to be rectangular rather than rounded at the top or closest to the injector...... does that make sense?

I went to speed inc site and saw the felpro,so instead of waiting for them I just went to local parts store and they had some felpros for the ls6.yes mine were rounded like yours.I tried mine from my stock ls6 to see if they would fit but they would not,i guess they were stretched out to much.ones from local parts store worked fine and has no leaks.

I read the grooves in the FAST intake that the gaskets sit in are cut deeper than an OEM one. Thats why the FAST gaskets are a bit thicker to provide a better seal. I am not 100% on this info maybe somebody else can chime in here.
