Default Where to buy headers for a good price?

I'm trying to get some LT's for my car now...I decided it would be a better option, but i really don't want to spend more than $600 for the headers and install. Is this possible?

Anyone know of some used headers, or if it's possible to achieve this?

Thanks in advance.

The cheapest decent sent would be Pacesetters IMHO which you could prob get buy and hve installed for around $600. If you want used keep checking the used parts section.

I agree, Pacesetters would be your best bet at staying in your price range.

Your going to need a new Y pipe too, so $600 for headers, Y pipe, and install might be cutting it close.

Oh yeah, that's right. You'll probably need 02 extensions too. Also, you'll need to remove the secondary O2 trouble code to keep your SES light off.

All the little things... Nothings cheap any more. One more thing to add, do your self a favor and get coated headers (new or used) the little extra is well worth it.

+1. If you don't get stainless, get coated.

And might as well change the plugs since the exhaust is all out at the time. And since you're doing plugs, wires would be good too. Oh, and it's the perfect time to add poly motor mounts with the headers out.......the list goes on and on.

those arent really necessary but they are a REALLY good idea to do at the same time. the stock plugs suck in this car. you can get the plugs/wires from blancoss(I think thats his name here) for like 70 bucks for both or something like that.

eBay headers are excellent quality, finish, and fit for the price. Plus they're stainless steel. Due to forum rules were not allowed to post a non sponsor price but I would atleast check them out. I have a few buddies with them on and they couldn't be happier.

how much are LPP headers now? i remember them being budget oreinted. Id pick those over a set of pacesetters anyday, but i just think stainless looks so much better and lasts longer.

as far as the y-pipe goes, id find a muffler shop locally and see how much they want to bend one for you. if you supply a flowmaster merge, youll gaurantee that youll have the best fit you can posibly get.

They were about $500 shipped, not sure now.

A member has a set of LPP with a new style TSP catted Y-pipe.

He said everything went in real easy.

seriously you can't beat that deal... it's a great system too... I've got it with no complaints. The coating they use is great too. Mine still look brand new a year later...

The list does go on and on, although I tried to keep it header oriented.
