I think they are 8mm x 1.25mm x 38mm. All bolt, nut and threads on the GEN III / IV engines are metric.

they are a 13 mm bolt but the threads are the same as a 9/16 s bolt, i pulled my motor last week and when i put it on the engine stand i used the same exact bolts as u use for my old small blocks, screwed them in with my fingers, so i know they fit

A 3/8-16 bolt will thread in (loosely) but as the OP found out, they WILL STRIP when any kind of torque load is applied!

What are the bolt torque settings of the transmission (T56) to the engine block?
I found the BTS of the clutch housing to transmission to be 26lb.ft. but not transmission to engine. Are they the same torque?

Thanks,
Dan
