I know not many people have the SLP LS6 manifold with EGR provisions but I figured it was worth posting to see if anyone had any experience plugging the EGR port. For the LS1 port I've heard people are using a 1 3/8" expandable freeze plug, wondering if this would do the trick for me or if a smaller size would be needed. I will be installing "race" headers relatively soon and make sure i have everything ready that I need to make it go smoothly. I am wondering if there is a cap or something which I could just thread onto the fitting coming out of the manifold:

If anyone knows the size it would be helpful, otherwise I can drag my *** to the garage to measure it. Was thinking I could just use an endcap and some high temp RTV sealant. Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
Another option would be to trade this intake for a normal LS6 intake. But that would be a hassle unless someone was willing to send me the LS6 so I could swap it directly onto the car then ship the other intake.

The fitting that SLP puts on their LS6 EGR intake is 3/4", all you need to do is pick up a cap for it and screw it on.
I bought my SLP intake used and the previous owner plugged it with this method, I'm glad as hell he didnt hack it up since I needed to hook it up for EGR.

^ If you want to just buy a new fitting for the EGR tube here are the Swagelok part numbers. I had to buy new ones for my intake, you'll have to register on Swagelok's site and then choose a local distributer. It's pretty cheap, $15 or so total as I recall.

I couldn't really figure out what I was looking for. I'll give that a try.
BTW, sorry to the OP for the thread hijack. I've also heard that
you can use a freeze plug to plug the EGR port. I don't know what
size it is though.
