Oil Presure My oil pressure gauge on my TA is at 45psi at idle then goes up to 75 psi at wot is this normal? It's a 2001 with 13k on her I only use mobel1 5w-30. I can't recall what it was doing last summer.

I remember seeing it drop to 20ish the first time and getting a pit in my stomach. So I did some research and it seems to be well within GM spec for pressure. I still don't like it but I'm learning to live with it.

a friend who has a 94 camaro and at idle he only runs 6 psi (his car is stock and a factor freak) he has replaced oil sending unit and has put a manual gauge on it to check it because he thought his factory one was broken. It is his daily driver and has been driving it like this for a few years and it still runs like a top.
I dont know what his oil psi dose when he gets on it but he said it dose go up. And buy factory freak i mean he runs better times then any other factor LT1 car.
