lm2 catback questions
lm2 catback questions hey guys, ive always heard people complaining about the lm1 catback beign to loud with long tube headers and ORY. I was on ls1sounds and couldnt find any videos with lm2 or on e bay... Does any one have videos of their cars with longtube headers no cats and lm2 mufflers? thanks alot
if you want a nice sounding exhaust but already have the SLP exhaust, order the magnaflow bullet muffler, its a direct replacement in the SLP system, i believe the magnaflow is 1 inch larger but u can trim that. Sounds great with long tubes and no cats.
I have longtubes and true duals w short powersticks, i want to switch to a y pipe catback setup to gain some ground clearance. SO i wanted to get a catback that sounds good but not to loud since i'll also have a cutout so if i want to be really loud i can and when i shut it it is bearable. So right now im in the debate of getting a lm2 or a magnaflow catback.

I just took a sound clip of my car with Kooks LTs, catted y-pipe and LM2. PM me if you want and I'll send you a copy.

hmmm.. im in such a debate. I think the lm2 with ory would sound amazing, but whats keeping me away is since im doing a cutout i think i should go with a quieter setup so its worth it having a cutout so its not like its barely a difference opening it and then it wont be a cop magnet so thats whats making me want the magnaflow exhaust. The thing i dont like about it is how you can see how the whole muffler when ur standing behind the car looking at it plus i hope its loud enough for my liking and i dont have to run the cutouts open lol detoxx's car sounds amazing

add another glasspack in the mid pipe (exhaust shop will weld it in) give u a nice tone quiet it down a little and good flow. or get a catted y
