why doest my tach work??

Default why doest my tach work??

just put my motor back in last night & fired it up & the tach doest work. is there a harness that I missed somewhere???

Check your cam position sensor and wiring. That's the most common cause of sporadic and/or missing tach issues.

it was the cam sensor wire but i still have a ses code that says cam sensor, random misfire, misfire, and tps (4codes)

Check for any loose grounds, and also make sure the pigtail on the pass side by the battary is connected. Think it is orange...

I'm having the same issue.

What pigtail??

Also, my temp gauge isn't working.


And.....I'm not throwing a Ceck Engine Light

geeze now it says o2 sensor right bank along with the other codes

does anyone think its just because i havent got the car tuned after the heads and cam swap>
