Wanted sound clip (Edelbrock)
I looked on the Exaust board for a sound clip of someone with Edelbrock LT's and true duels with dumps. Just trying to figure out what mufflers to go with when i fab my set up. Anyone got a clip or 2 and what mufflers they are using.

Thats the same setup I have & its great. Sorry I have no sound clips, but it sounds awesome!! Gets plenty of attention. Everytime I drive it, I get a compliment or a thumbs up. The only downside is that its also loud in the car. I personally don't care cause I like the sound, but if I do have to take a phone call, its a little hard to hear.

won't be disappointed with any of the full size "straight thru" mufflers on the market. most should sound the same.
i'm very happy with my magnaflow setup
flowtech LTs, 3" xpipe, magnaflow 4x9 mufflers with dumps before the axle.
videos don't do it justice....its loud enough to hear a block away at idle.
the 2 vids compare open pipes (xpipe no mufflers) to the same setup with mufflers. same camera position...jsut slipped the mufflers on.
its almost too quiet in the video...but when you consider how earsplitting loud straight pipes are...you get the idea.
i describe it like this...the video of straight pipes is what it sounds like with mufflers in person maybe not quite so sharp.
around town and on the highway its VERY mellow, no need to raise your voice. you usually have more trouble hearing when the windows are down than the exhaust being loud.
but when you open up the loud pedal....old people start to shake their fists in anger.
i got called in by a car i was passing...only went +5mph over the speedlimit...but he called me in for going fast. its just that i went around him in 3rd gear @ ~50mph (over 3000rpm). the TDs were yelling...alot!!
