Default Studdering and feels like missing after header install!

Last month my dad and I installed some pacesetter headers with an off road y pipe, we used 02 extensions for the front and didnt mess with the rears, we also replaced the plugs and wires, and i removed the a.i.r and e.g.r. IT ran great for three weeks and then all of a sudden monday when i started it up it had a rough idle and then when i went in reverse the the rpms got even rougher. then i went to accelerate and nothing happened just like it was missing and couldnt quite get going, but then after about three to five minutes of driving it runs fine again. it really makes no sense and when i ran it on the computer, no misfires showed up only the rear o2s and the e.g.r.. Could the removal of the air and egr and the rear o2s be screwing my computer up. It starts this acceleration hesitation and rough idle every time i start the car up until it gets warmed up. ive been meaning to get everything tuned, just havent saved the cash yet. thanks for any help.

wat kind of plugs did you replace tghem with? if you did it with BOSH i highly suggest you get rid of those and i garuntee it will fix the problem. i had the same problem with mine. and dont get standards! get platinums of higher. i suggest using ngks, iretiums, ac delco, really anything except BOSH, and get platinums. also make sure you gapped the spark plug correctly.

if you dont have NGK-tr55s then you should go get them and see what happens.

i used ngk tr-55s, so i dont think its the plugs, and the diagnostic didnt even show a misfire, so thats why i think its something with the computer

make sure all the wires are snug and that there isnt a crack in any of the plugs. there shouldnt be anything wrong with your computer. i drove my car for almost 5 months before i got my hptuners and i did the exact same thing as you.

My guess is that you need new O2 sensors. You will start to feel the problem before a code is thrown. New headers ate up my 70k mile stockers in about a month and that is exactly how my car acted.

make sure none of your plug wires are touching the headers. You might have burned a hole in one of them.

when you removed the air pump there was a bolt on the back side of the drivers head. make sure this bolt is tight, there is a ground there that grounds the computer and 1,3,5,7 coils, and the crank sensor. my car started running like **** and then eventually started dying going down the road and then wouldnt even start at all. hope this helps

speaking of the air plug, when you removed it one of the hoses opens up. make sure you have that hose blocked off or it will have a vacuum leak

twitch twice, what air hose are you talking about? the whole air system is gone along with the egr. i have race style headers and a freeze plug where the egr went into the intake manifold.

Cold its not running on the o2 sensors so forget that. Look carefully at the wires and plugs.

Has the car been tuned at all? I swapped out new 02 sensors with my install along with plugs and everything was fine.

a blinking SES light indicates multiple misfires.]

can the o2 sensors cause multiple misfires or does it either have to be my plugs or wires, and no it hasnt been tuned yet.

there is a hose on the back of the intake that will be wide open when you remove the air system unless you plug it off.

if its multiple misfires id be looking at your plugs and wires.
