Default GMMG Guys I need help

Anybody with GMMG setup having fitment issue? I just got my system a week ago, I put it on everything seems OK except the 2 pipes connected the 3' pipe over the axle. Its touching the aluminum that covers the gas tank, is this going to be an issue or shall I leave it alone?

All catbacks and aftermarket exhaust will have minor firment issues that are different from car to car. Thankfully there are multiple sections of pipe that can be turned, twisted or tweaked to get the fit right.

Tweaking can include bending brackets. Shimming hangers to provide more clearance and even trimming pipes some where needed.

I had to do most of this with my old Borla for a perfect fit.

no fitment issues with my gmmg, theres always room to adjust and you can bend that heat shield in.

I did put shims on the hangers but still touch, I will check it again today may be it needs a little twist. Is there any gap between the heat shield and gas tank?

You can go to any exhaust shop to get it welded. I went to Muffler Works (BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, but he does do good work). I would never go back there again though. I also went to Mel & Sons in Richmond.

Well, I disconnect the hangers and tried twisting the muffler and I even bend the heatshield but still touching. I have no choice but bring it to the muffler shop, I will try Mel & Sons in richmond Ssmokin recomedation, its couple miles away from where I live.
