Default LS6 intake installtion help

I have 2 questions:

1.How do you remove the injectors from the intake?

2. What do yall do about the egr tube that is suppose to go into the intake, since the ls6 intake doesnt have one

thanks in advanced

Unbolt the fuel rails and gently pull up on it .The injectors should come up with the rail . You ll need to eliminate your EGR with a block off plate for you exhaust manifold . Then have it turned off with a tune. Or you ll be cruising around with the 'SES" light in you face .

be wary of the oil pressure sensor located at the back of block.
it will very easily break. its a plastic body. and a apin trying to find one when you need it. also there like 20$, so take time and dont damage it.
also disconnect map sensor, brake hose, vac. hose befor removing.
take a drinkin straw and cut into small sections and split, to use on the rear bolts to raise them.

Do you have a visual inspetion in your state ?? If not ,as long as you "ses" light is off ,but it works , you should be ok . Like I said , you can have the the EGR turned off with a tuner .

Here in texas? Noo..

My check engine light is on, on my daily driver (removed a cat from each side, so it has 2 not 4) And when its inspection time, I disconnect my battery for a little while and plug it back in. Drive to the inspection place, look for cats(there) and o the other stuff they have to do. But they never plug it into a computer to check codes. And thats because I take mine to those oil changing places. They are pretty damn **** about this stuff.

He lives in Harris County where he has to pass the sniffer test on his exhaust. It isnt just a visual check there.

i tried the break parts clean trick the other day but it didnt make any difference in the miss firing. I just took off my intake to look things over and discovered water built up around my head bolts and my intake was damp inside, anyone have suggestions on how why this is occurring?

That's really weird. I'm not sure about that one. Have you watched my install video? Maybe there is a small thing you missed or something?

i beleive i found the problem to my miss firing and idle problems, i found out that i broke the oil pressure sending unit at the back of the block.
Could this actually cause all of the problems iv been having?

No, your only symptom from breaking the OPSU would be your oil pressure gauge not working. That's what I was told anyway.

I broke that darn thing the other day, 40 bucks to get a new one. I used a 1 1/16 socket to get it off. I did not have anything big enough to get the new one on, so I used some channel locks. It is difficult to get it tight but I got it snug and hoped for the best.
