I have seen anywhere from 8whp to 12whp. I picked up 19whp but i also ported my stock TB at the same time.

That's actually pretty damn impressive if that dyno reading was correct.

Anyone else have any sort of numbers from the UD pulleys?

so can anyone actually clear this up, i always thought the UD pulley did clear up horsepower. and if the SLP deal he is offering is for 210, for everything, i'd like to take that over ASP. as long as it's freeing up some HP and not just revving faster

I have never understood that argument, you can't make an engine rev faster without making more HP. . .unless they are talking about revving in neutral. . .

If you are climbing rpms faster while accelerating, you are obviously putting more HP to the ground. I don't understand how people can say that's only revving faster but is not actually putting more power down.

The deal I am offering as a sale to you guys is a powerbond u/d pulley, new main belt, new a/c belt, and a new GM crank bolt for $199.99 plus shipping. You can swap that to a reusable ARP style crank bolt for another $10 for a total price of 209.99 plus shipping.

if you want to free up more hp,you could relocate your alternater to run off a pulley mounted to the rear of your tranny.

Here in Oz we had a someone do back to back testing of the 25% powerbond units and found around 10 rwhp repeatable. I have run these on 2 of my cars without any issues at all regarding charging or power steering. It's a worthwile investment when doing a cam swap .

The Powerbond units are made here in Australia and are not rebadged SLP ones.

cheers

And aside from slighly underdriving the accessories, and losing rotational mass... I find them to be smoother than the others due to the fluid encased steel ring which is effective at all RPM's and not certain tuned ranges like elastomer pulleys. And there is no elastomer to wear out either.

Yes it costs more @ just over $360... but it's one of the best mods I made. Car idles, revs smoother, and faster too. Did not dyno it, but the difference was as noticeable as my aluminum flywheel.
Sam, was it part no. 720102? Thanks.

I ordered this setup from you guys and received the wrong belt. I basically got 2 small ac belts and no main belt. How can this be resolved?

I might give you guys a call also. Do I need to mention anything special to get that $200 for Powerbond pulley, two belts, and bolt? BTW, those belts are Gatorback? And if I decide I need an alternator overdrive pulley later, you guys carry those?
