i have the asp ud pulley, i have an auto and at idle the charge drops low, so low it stalled out on me the other day, and i have a new optima redtop, so i ma wondering replace alt with new HO alt, or try alt overdrive pulley? I am going to do the big 3 mod and the excitor wire mod, but what part number and belt would i need for od pulley for alt? thanks!
Dumb question, but do these just bolt on? I haven't torn into my LS1 that far yet, but on my lt1's the pulley is also the harmonic balancer. Is this the case with the LS1 UDP also or is this more like a standard small block setup (ie pulley bolts onto the harmonic balancer).

Check the market place. I saw an asp for sale for 75 bucks the other day, don't get much better then that. I have an asp on mine for a couple years now i bought used and have zero issues or complaints.
