Try a search, this question pops up everyday...25% underdrive pulleys free up around 7hp. Seems worthwhile to me.

its alot of money for a small gain, but at some points that's all that's left.

as long as you don't run a big stereo system, you should be good to go with an UDP.

i threw my belt once in 7yrs of driving....

Default THE best price!!!

Theres a sponser on here that sells the 25% Powerbond (reboxed SLP, with high retaining walls for no belt slipping at all) new bolt and both belts for like 199.99 bones + shipping, and ive done alot of research on prices for those latley, this is the best offer around, some folks want more for their used ones vs. this price without the bolt and belts.

They reduce rotating mass and speed of belt driven accessories. The result is a more responsive engine that revs faster, but doesn't produce any more power than it did before.

You don't really gain any hp, you just lose less. And by the way,The SLP UD pulley I had on my car was just as heavy as the factory crank pulley.

$199 + shipping for the Powerbond underdrive pulley, both new belts, and a crank bolt. I will get this deal updated on pricing on the website ASAP. For now, just give me a call and I'll get any of you guys set up

Its worth it, I wouldn't worry about the hp gain though. It allows the motor to rev quicker and spins all accesories slower(longer bearing life) Don't worry about charging, most of the time I'm sure your near redline....

I have the slp works great and is a bare metal color

My buddy has the asp one and its black if you prefer that color

I think they are all 25%

If you have an auto the smaller pulley is slightly easier on the tranny, It allows the motor to be pulled down easier between shifts, and with its ability to rev quicker you get a little more stall.

+1 for buying the pully.

I've see nothing but benifits from when i did mine. The power comes from not having to spin all the acc. as fast as before. You can almost think of it as being in 1st gear vs 2nd gear. Its a mechanical advantage. HP isn't much different between gears, but the acceloration is greater with a lower gear.

Most people will be concerned about chargin issues, but usual most people get different gears anyway IE. 3.73's or 4.10's. This allows the motor to be at higher rpms at cruising speeds, so the alt. is able to spin high enough the meet the requirements of the elec. system.
