OP if you want an exhaust that is not obnoxiously loud with no rasp then the PowerFlo is for you. Had the lm setup and would never go back to it.

Does anyone know if the Powerflo setup would work with a CME??

I am aware this is a bit of a thread hijacking and a resurrection at the same time. My apologies

I was searching around and haven't seen anything about swapping out stuff on the slp powerflo system. I would imagine there are many more options for a person to swap in borla xr-1's in place of the mufflers or replace the lm2 with a magnaflo. You know, the popular swaps for the lm1 and lm2 setups. If there is one hing I don't like about the powerflo it is the little pings that one owner spoke of during shifts. Like shooting a pellet gun at a can. Maybe some swaps could take care of that? Maybe there are some people on the forum that have modified their powerflo with new exhaust components with good results. If so, please post.

I am looking to keep it chill. I live in California so catless isn't an option. Really prettys set on powerflo but bought I might get a better sound with borlas behind the tips.

True duals would be cool if I could get them over the Axel. Under axel is a no go as I wan clearance after I lower my car.

I would do the powerflo, down the road if you want to include H/C in your setup you will be happy with the powerflo. LM1 is just to damn raspy with any setup in my opinion

Aside from the powerflo, I would look in to hooker aerochamber system. They sound very deep, no rasp and decently quite when idle or just cruising.

If you want the corvette sound then go with powerflo, it has a "deeper/beefier" tone as you described. LM1 is more evil and raspy, really depends on your preference.

I vote for the LM2. I just installed one on my car and love it. Can be made quite when necessary but screams at WOT.

Man no doubt how refined that system makes the car sound. I tried many CB's on my '99 SS M6 and ended up keeping the Borla. But i love how refined the PowerFlo system makes the LS1 sound!!! It's not just deeper you also get that awesome growl and you can still hear the cam without the rasp. A very nice system. All that and its a high flow CB. Good to see SLP put some thought into this. Wise choice.

Same here. I also have shorties and an ORY and I still love it. Also there is a powerflo add option if needed. The only powerflo I have ever heard is Detoxxes. I belive it has the LM1 with it. Anyway the resonators are changeable so you can always have one of each and add the powerflo too if you want.

Quick Reply: SLP Loudmouths or SLP Powerflo's on LS1 Camaro.
