Default borla plates

i got borla cat back on my Z28 M6,the orignal owner forget where he put the block off plates,dose anyone here have a picture for them ,maybe i can made them in my bro work shop.

I don't feel that much of a difference. Hell the sound isn't affected as much as you'd think either. That might be because I have a cam though.

Always ran my old borla open, why would you want to plate it anyways? I'd imagine its still pretty loud even with the plate in.

The best way to make the plae is what I did, I took a plate for a electrical junction box, a 4,11/16 cover, then took the right pipe off the Y,by the muffler and traced the triangular shape of the flange with a sharpie marker, I made the hole with a unibit and started small till I got the sound I wanted, I can tellwith more back pressure theres more torque and the rasp is non existent, but I like the quieter sound, guess im getting older?

I gained 3 RWHP open Borla when in the 300RWHP range. The cutout is too far back to be effective. It is only good for loud exhaust.

I took mine out and put an electric cutout in place for them. you can control how loud it is with a flip of a switch.
