i think you got it backwards... iunno if they are any diff on lt1's from the ls1's but my friend has borla on his lt and with stock manifolds and an ORY it sounded like complete ******* unless he had the closed plate in... when he would decellerate it sounded like a damn air brake like on the 18 wheelers, it was bad! he got LT's and another ORY and has one of the mid plates in and it has a very deep crisp sound! i love the way his car sounds! but i LOVE my GMMG and my CME on the way!!!!

That's in no way a fact.... I love my borla tips!!! Planning on keeping them when I go to true duals, I think they perfectly accompany the cutouts on the Trans Am bumper

haha i threw that in there for fun, i knew someone would catch it i think most agree there are much better alternatives, some corsas would look way better in that T/A bumper!

IMO the whistle at upper RPMs is what makes the exhaust. I like it. I usually get asked if I have a supercharger or people think im doing a 500ft burnout

I still like my Borla adjustable cat back, I put it on back in 1999. Had one on my 95 LT1 car too. I don't think it's really possible to tell from reading here and other forums how popular a particular cat back is, particularly since there are so many different exhaust options these days versus what we had in 1993, 1995, 1998, etc...
