Default help me with my check list???

Ok, here I go with a list of already have for my build on my 00 TA. I'm more concerned with what I haven't got yet and putting it in the budget.

Ported Fast 90
nick williams 90
lower control arm and relocation brackets
spec 3+ clutch
torque arm
LT headers/corsa exhaust

I need.................
ls6 oil pump
Timing chain
243 heads(want trickflow but can't afford)
rods
patrick G custom cam
ls7 lifters
rocker arms
All gaskets and arp bolts
42lb injectors.
poly motor mounts

Please let me know if there is anything I'm missing. I want to have everything ready to do the full swap over a week or so and I don't want to have to wait on parts.

I do have a question on rocker arms...Will stock ls7 rocker arms suffice or do I need aftermarket. If so, what is recommended???

Any other help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

stick to stock rockers...no need to upgrade unless you run the TFS altered angle heads.

why only run the 28# injectors? you will likely still max them out. upgrade to some SVO 30's. and the stock fuel rail will be just fine.

you can probably make do with teh stock MAF as well. although running a bigger Lid and a truck MAF may gain a few ponies. assuming the tuner knows how to set it up.

one thing you'll need is the coolant pipes for putting the intake on. i think they're <$50 from various vendors.

you'll also want new pushrods, and springs if the heads don't come with them. you don't mention if the "243 heads" are gonna be stock or p/p.

with the money saved from what i've mentioned above, you can probably splurge on things like UDP and EWP...both proven to gain power.

oh....and i highly suggest swapping in a set of poly motor mounts!!!

will keep all that newfound power from causing clearance issues with the exhaust!!!

Updated, Going to go 42 lb injectors and ditch the maf altogether and get a SD tune.
Poly motor mounts will be done also.
Don't need a lid, running a custom cold air.
My bolts will be arp.
I'm waiting until Pat G does my cam to know what size rods and springs I'm going to need.
My 243 heads will be whatever I get a good deal on. I hope I can pick up some P&P.

What coolant pipes for the intake? Excuse my stupidity but I've never heard of that.

Keep the input coming, I want this build done right the first time.

you have to change the tubes under the intake...they won't fit under the ls6 or the FAST
