Fast Toys 98 or 104mm Lid worth it on my setup
Alright, I have a 1999 Z28 with the BBK SSI, 85mm BBK TB, Delphi MAF. My lid is an older one, maybe ls1 motorsports, not sure. The MAF will not fit on it.
I am debating going and buying a bigger lid so the 85mm MAF will fit on my lid or go get a larger lid.
Is it worth it to get a new larger lid or go buy the coupler to attached MAF.
Does anyone have any track times with this new lid vs old lid or any dyno results?

you won't see BIG differences at the track, but the 104mm will be best simply because your engine will have a larger plenum of clean air to pull from. As long as your lid isn't smaller than your MAF/TB, you're fine though. 85mm lids come up cheap on here all the time so that may be the best route unless you plan on upgrading down the road.

Yeah, that what I was thinking. Man, once you start modding, it never stops. Guess thats what happens when it sits in the garage and you go by it everyday. Just want to go to the dyno once and not have to go back because I changed something like a maf or TB , lid wouldnt matter.

I did a search and found this thread. I am doing a H/C/I/E swap at the moment and using a SLP 85mm MAF. I am using a LS6 intake and ported T/B. I am trying to decide if the Fast Toys 98mm lid is going to make a difference.
I am not trying to highjack, I just have the same question as you and don't want to start another thread.
