So if you space in intake up, it will obviously take the injectors with it. Is this gonna be a problem?

like I said the intake sits flush on the heads...there is no valley cover on the motor right now...

don't see why it would be...the injectors, fuel rail, etc mount to the intake...so everything is just pushed up 3/16 of an inch...

They lined up great top and bottom, but side to side some of the ports were up to .060" off.

No one said everything is quick and easy in life. I have over 15 hours alone in porting my fast intake. Make sure you seal your intake back up with a little silicone as the fast intakes have been none to leak internally, causing hp losses. I would smoke test the intake after you are done, these damn plastic things are a pain to seal up.

You should seperate the middle and the bottom piece to radius the entrance to the runners. That and remove the big bulge on the side of the entrance.
already done...thanks for the tip though...

thats normal, the floor angles suck. Even look at the design pic from fast, with a stock head shape. but they make power. I havnt seen it with these heads, but the prc terminator heads wer even worst. Stock heads are not that bad, but I still dot like how the floor angles are so diffrent.

don't be worried about epoxy falling out. There no fuel on it, you can drill some little .07 holes in the floor so it bites into that. Fast has a 2 part epoxy they can tell you if you call. That bonds really well, people use it to fix broken TB flanges off with it and its fine. I know some cly. head guys use slashzone, on these to fill the floor up.

i have some 2 part 5 min devcon epoxy that seems to work really good for any spots that get ported through...i am not worried about the transition now once i use these thicker gaskets i am making...cant wait to get the engine back in the car...

It would be interesting to see the power difference - just bolted on misaligned vs lined up with your spacers.

yeah kinda be a pain to take it off and on just for the back to back...i think i am going to just run the thicker gaskets and maybe my numbers will prove the build...we will see though, maybe i can be swayed to do a back to back comparison...

What a Load of Crap

We pay alot of money for speed parts and often recieve half *** service and half the **** is engineered poorly or out right Wrong !

You could have a custom intake fabbed up for near the same price

" I'll Pass on Fast "

Buy a Fast And Get passed lol

My only gripe about FAST intakes is the price. I worked at an injection molding plant in Frankfort KY that actually makes the L76 Intake manifolds and it doesnt cost them but a few dollars to make those plastic pieces after the tooling is paid for.

The L76 was on a Lost Core procedure part that is injected into a mold with a Bismuth Core and then the Bismuth Core is then melted out using a solution and electrical charge.

The regular 3 piece manifolds that were welded together using friction/vibration method were super simple to mold and even cheaper.

So in a nutshell at 800-1000 dollars they are making bank on the FAST intake manifold!

I want to see someone make a Cathedral port version of the LS7 Intake... they outflow FAST all day long!

if by gap you mean misalignment then yes they will but not quite as bad as the TFS in the pics...

Just Run it. That is how fast intakes are. It does not hurt power too much. My 90mm fast was like that on my 440 stroker and I still made 570 rwhp.
