I did it with only a dremel and a volt meter. You want the voltmeter to read right about 4.65vdc. Don't go past 4.7vdc. You'll want to take the two leads from the voltmeter and touch them to two out of the three wires on the TPS I believe. I don't recall which 2 exactly. I did this about 2 years ago so I'm stretching. It was very easy, just time consuming. Run a search. I had a detailed thread going about this when I did it. There was a lot of good info in it. I'm not sure if that thread still lives though.

OK, the maximum voltage for the "bump stop mod" before getting a SES light is 4.7v, so 4.6v would be a good place to stop. On the LS1 throttle body, measure voltage with a volt meter by putting the black lead (ground) somewhere on the engine block, and then insert the red lead into the TPS connector at the blue wire.

Also confirm VISUALLY that the throttle blade is fully open at WOT.

thanks! i figured out why my car felt shitty, well taht was it lol after i painted my TB i wasnt thinkin about it would not let it open as far. i was gettin like 4.30 volts and now im gettin about 4.6-4.62 and i tell u what when i stomp it in 1st now traction has to come on if i floor it from any rpm. i mean before it would spin but not bad enough for traction to come on. im glad i read this post lol

question though....will this lean out the WOT air/fuel? and if so how much?

WOT when i punch it. like i said my voltage was only 4.3 which i think is less than stock. my blade was nowhere near being flat. but once i floor it the *** end just wants to spin now, didnt do that before...as much as now...at WOT from 2000+ i can tell, all u can hear is the tires spinning now. i think it more or less just let the right amount of air in there so the motor wouldnt "bog" under high load like that. it just picks right up. there isnt much delay
