Default 95-105mm throttle body VS. 4 barrel throttle body

i was looking around for my new set up, crossed with a Wilson 95-105mm throttle bodies and the 4 barrels from differnt companys. the question is, which will give the most power and why?
the single plane that got have the 4150 bolt pattern, and the most high CFM for the 4 barrels is 1215, and the 95-105cfm throttle body rated at 1200-1350 cfm. but design wise and HP what will be the perfect set up.
thanks

Carbs and FI may not be rated at the same
pressure drop. If I recall, 2BBL and 4BBL carbs
even used different inH2O standards back in
the day.

Carbs need pressure drop (velocity in venturis)
to work. FI doesn't.

4 1.5" throats have a total area of 7 sq" and
a periphery of 18" - periphery x some boundary
layer subtracts from useful area.

1 100mm throat has a total area of a little
over 12 sq" and periphery a little over 12".

So the big single looks like a much better
critter.

Packaging has a lot to do with your choice, IMO. If you are referring to the GMPP single plane for the LS1, adding a 4-bbl TB and the air inlet plumbing above it, you'll probably be higher than using a Wilson elbow. Additionally, the elbow doesn't get as far into the cowl brace as will the 4-bbl and air inlet parts.

TBs are generally flow rated the same as 4-bbl carbs. The measured flow rating takes into account area and periphery.

What kind of engine are you building that you need 1200++ CFM?

well the intake is from Wegner motor sport which is exactlt the GMPP one. the engine is a solid roller 348ci with huge cam. the mian idea converting the intake to EFI and using the 90 degree elbow with the 4 barrel TB, but i was thinking why cant i use a regular 95 or 105 mm TB instad, and might get the same performance. the other i was concern with is , will the elbow hit the stock cowl or not..
