What does everyone think of the Magnaflow catback? Good exhaust? Very loud? I can get a great deal on it, so I'm just checking what everyone thinks of it.

I have the magnaflow muffler on the car.. The car stock with the cats and with the magnaflow exhaust sounded good (for the A4).. I am in the middle of headers/ORY-pipe install to eliminate the cats. From what i have read in the past is that magnaflow is not as loud as flowmaster but magnaflow gives better HP numbers. Might want to try a search and see what you come up with.

I have a magnaflow with longtubes and no cats, and it is LOUD at WOT. Not bad at idle, but when you get into it, it screams. I got pulled over for it by a state trooper because he said it was way too loud.

I said officer, I have a muffler and tailpipes, what are you talking about?

Magnaflow is what I have on my car, its alright. I had flowmaster before and the Magnaflow is way better at not having any drone. Its kinda quiet, but thats not a bad thing.

The magnaflow is loud and somewhat raspy with headers and off road y pipe, IMO. And on the louder side of things.

Its a mellow exhaust at idea, but opens up nicely at WOT with no rasp.

I am running it with FLPs w/race pipes and a TR224, really nice combo--its WAY LOUD AT WOT, couldnt imagine running my setup with a louder catback

I love my magnaflow. Of course i still have stock manifolds and y pipe, but it's still gets pretty loud at WOT. at idle it's pretty deep and mellow but not obnoxiously loud

here my setup in sig: jet hots, catted Y, magnaflow. i dumped it though for true duals though.

magnaflow has a mellow sound to it and on a scale of 1-10 for loud its a 5
