Default Valve cover windows

Saw these at a car show recently, anyone seen these before or know who makes them? Thought they were kind of cool.

Thanks.

I know, I saw the car at a car show in Morro Bay, CA a few months ago. The guys hanging out with the car didn't know where they came from, I guess the guy who built the car was off eating lunch or something. I have never seen anything like it so I thought maybe someone here could help.

So far the only people I can find that make something like this are for rear ends, don't know why you would want this though.

I guess you could keep tabs very easily on your oil level.

Yeah, probably not. I would be interested to know how long they last, the guys at the show were telling me the plastic comes out and you can slide in a new piece real easy.

Why don't you build them yourself. Sheet metal valve covers, buzz saw, lexan, taps, and screws and be done. Plus it would be cooler if you built them instead of buying them.

Because I want them to look good. I haven't done a ton of work to my car, but I am pretty confident when it comes to trying new things. I think this would be out of my realm of expertise.
