Wow. Who would hide drugs in a muffler? Wouldn't they melt or catch fire or do whatever drugs do when they reach several hundred degrees? (I'm not sure what drugs do when they get real hot).

And if this was a CHP car, that means the state garage employees did it...what in the world were they thinking? Whats a muffler cost vs how much time they put in to replace it?

Its a mod for the new AIR system, where the old one helped to heat the cats up, this one uses the flowing "ports" to help cool the gases leaving the system to create a flow out the back, making less emmisions problems and cooling the exhaust so it dosent get so hot when they have to sit on the side of the road at idle.

Really, I dont know what they were thinking, and even worse, it was the guys that keep these cars up for the CHP that did this, violation thier own emission laws I would say.

i like how the chp is aloud to do **** like this but if one of us were to do some dome ish we would get a modified emmissions ticket, or modified exhaust..Bullish!! but still funny as hell!!!
