Default ever see someone hack a muffler like so?

some one cut my muffler up.. lol ever see this kind of art an precision before? any reasons? gains or losses? it was a California Hwy patrol car.. 2002 b4c, look like they took there time to cut in certain spots.. any ideas?

my best guess would be that it was done to try and make the car sound "better", I assume its louder then a stock car? I would imagine it would sound like a huge exhaust leak

well she doesnt sound like she leaks.. is quite louder.. but yes replace is on my list..

Wow... I'd like to kick the previous owner in the *******.

Probably cut holes till he couldn't feel the exhaust out of the tips anymore lol.

To be honest, it would make me a little nervous to own a vehicle that was owned by someone that would do that.
They obviously were a hack and didnt know much (at least automotive wise for sure)
Hopefuly they didn't own it for long. haha
