One of many things like...

-If you have cats, they could be coming apart inside.
-Some part of your exhaust hitting something like the tunnel brace.
-The band clamp at your Y to I pipe merge.

Rubber mallet time.

I got this from a friend : "is it after you let off the gas? If so, I was told that the "rattling noise" is caused by the immediate lack of backpressure, and air going in the cutout instead of out."
Do you think this could be happening ?

Does your friend wear his cap sideways?

I doubt that's the problem.

It is most likely rubbing on the rear heat shield at the rear. Mine did this too, I just put a pry bar under to push up on the heat shield.

Well I got the car on the lift with a muffler guy. And the result was turbulance.
Air going back in inside the cutout after reving. There was nothing loose or close to the entire pipe tuching or vibrating. It is normal at least for the LS1s to do this. My other LS1 does the same thing and it has the same set up.
Thanks for all of them that tryed help me figure this out.
Danny
