When I do mine I remove the coil paks and dip stick and get it down to nothing but the valve cover. I then stand next to the fender and reach in with my right hand instead of my left. make sure to use the spark plug grease, makes it slid on the plug easier.

Just jack the car up and get it from under the car.

My FIRST time doing it on the car took about 3 minutes.
Trust me, it's so much easier from under the car.

Make sure you chalk the back tires and use jackstands in the right places.

Its super easy from the top. Use your left hand bc it conforms better to the space you have available. You must do this one completely by feel. However I have only done plugs on cars with headers. Im not sure how they are with stock manifolds if thats what the car you're working on has.

I did it from underneath. It was pretty simple. I was trying it from the top but it wasn't coming off.

I had to do it on one of my TA's from the bottum and the others I done from the top. Depends how seized the dam plug is. Get a real long extention or multple of them and go at it from the bottum. Or if you have skinny arms like me get it from the top.

did mine from underneath the car. removed coil packs and dip stick(don't have to do this). just have to contort your hand by feel and put the plug in. first time takes awhile then it gets easier.

Never even had to attemp this from the bottom. Take a short piece of 3/8 fuel hose, slip it over the plug and give it a try. Always seems easy to me but I always take the coilpacks off too. Easy on 99-up cars the whole pack of em come off. I tighten the plug with a spark plug socket and I believe its a 19mm socket that fits on that unless you have a really short extension.

First time I did it from the bottom but it was a bitch. When I did it from the top, I removed the coil packs, and it was pretty simple.

I should add if you've never taken off your passenger side coil packs, it's a REAL bitch! There are 5 bolts (I think), and it's not the spiky looking ones either. They bolt the coil pack rail to the valve cover. The last one in the back is extremely difficult! I forget what size they are, but if I had a ratcheting wrench at the time, it'd have been MUCH easier. We had to spin a little, flip the wrench, spin some more, and this was all blind and took forever. The driver's side's last bolt is tangled up with some AIR thing back there. In any case, when I put both sides back in, I only bolted 4 bolts on each. Doesn't hurt anything.

all these are good, but i like the small hand method better but the easiest way for me was to take the coilpack off, then get on top of the battery, and i had more than enuff room.

I also do mine from the top with the coil pack removed. Use a short extension; 1 1/2" I think it is. After you do it a few times it's not bad at all.

I do mine from the top and don't remove anything.. not having AC with headers and skinny arms has something to do with it though.

+1. I give my 5 year old nephew 5 bucks and he reaches in there like nothing lol j/k I prefer to pull the coils and go in from the top. Gives you quite a bit of room.

+1 to the bottom. I spent an hour messing with it from the top. it took me less time to swap the plug/wire than it did to jack the car up. very simple. i agree about to each his own, however my thoughts are why remove coil packs when all you gotta do is break out the jack?

in my case i can have the coil pack off before you even bring the jack to the car, put a brick on the tires, get jack stand etc.. but thats because i only have 3 bolts holding the coils on. plus im not the biggest guy around so it helps.
