Full exhaust (headers, ORY/ORX or Catted Y/X pipe, cutouts or dumped/catback setup).
Intake manifold
Underdrive pulley
Lid
Ported/bigger throttle body
Bigger MAF
uhh I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
Cold air intakes generally (not ricer ****, but actual functioning intakes that scoop air from underneath the car)
Depending on who you ask, gears and free mods are thrown in that mix.
Basically this.
To add on to this, it would be a misrepresentation to say headers (at least long tubes) are only going to help your peak HP numbers on the dyno. That's simply not the case. There is power to be had at many places under the curve, and specifically, in the power band.

Yeah some people consider clutches and stalls as bolt ons also. So an a4 should have a stall to be considered full bolt on, but everyone's "full bolt on" seems a little different. For example some people would say to not bother with a maf until your up over 500hp (beyond bolt on hp).

I will try to make a before and after video with the headers and my buddies lt1. We are pretty much side by side now so I will make a vid before and after and maybe we can end the debate

you already have the headers...and from the looks of your sig in the past you have installed a ls6 intake
would you do the ls6 intake again? because even the skeptics are admitting there should be AT LEAST a 10rwhp gain...that is the average for what the intake should have given you
you have a lid, intake, and what I'm guessing is the slp ram/cold air that force feeds the airbox, so why choke the engine on the other end? depending on how your car responds, the headers could be worth about the same as all 3 of those mods combined
it sounds like you are looking for an excuse to be lazy more than anything

There isn't much of a debate really going on. Just some more ignorant people claiming stuff and some of the more veteran tech residents telling you what is facts. You have to be able to looks through the bull **** posts and decide what is opinion and what has been proven/has data to prove point/etc etc etc.

Ha I aint lazy lol. i want to do the headers. Got to wait for a good time where im not on call and am not working and they will be in. And yea I would say the ls6 intake made a good difference. I would say at least a tenth. I could feel it. I ran a 13.5 stock with 2000 ft DA 58 degree weather and a little chilly. and than I went back with mods in sig and ran a 13.4 with a 4000ft DA in 85 degree humid weather. You guys are def making me want to do the headers now. I think I will get good gains. 99% of the people are telling me its deff going to make my times better.

I know that Circle D is a very good converter but you might check into PTC torqe converters. I've used them since I was a Full bolt on car to a H/C/I car and now a Built 402ci th350 Z28. They will custom build you a converter. A LS1 converter built for your setup will cost you $475.00. **** man my racing 8" converter for my th350 only cost $750.00. Not bad for a custom built converter to my specs.
