Whisper Lid
Thanks,

Really, the suncoast setup isn't bad. Especially when used with a ram air hood.
I don't remember anyone ever directly comparing the two.
My Whisper lid performs great, and so will a TSP lid. But not sure which would give you better performance between a lid and the suncoast setup.

1) It is sealed cold air induction. Colder air going into your throttle body will give you more hp.
2) It is ram air. This means that at higher speeds you will have more air flow and it will push the air faster creating more cfm. More air in and more air out means more hp. That is as long as you have enough of a free flowing exhaust to handle the extra air from your intake.
I also used the Whisper lid before I got my Suncoast SS Hood install. The gain isn't huge but it is there. My quarter mile trap speeds went from 104 mph to 105 mph. This means more hp. Not much but still more.
