Default confused on exhuast

about a month ago i put Pacesetters and an ory on my Gf's 01 ws6.

She had a LM1 catback. When i put everything together it sounded like ****. So i took the resonator out and put a magnaflow bullet muffler in its place.

This sounded a little bit better but still some rasp at WOT.

Now i was debating on going to true duals but she doesnt want them because there is no tailpipes and it will be a bitch to get a set fabbed up.

Now i am debating on putting a flowmaster or hooker catback set up.

Who has either with LT headers and ORY.

Do you like it how does it sound.

Which is louder.

I went to ls1 sounds but the videos kinda suck to get a good feel for the sound.

Thanks

Go with the hooker, one the best flowing cat backs. Flowmaster is not. I can have a conversation with passenger while crusing and it screams at WOT. Love my hooker

Adding cats will cut out rasp, even high flow ones. I've heard an SS with a SLP LM2 catback, longtube headers and a catted Y pipe; sounded excellent with little rasp.

I don't think it's raspy at WOT, it's a deeper rumble than the LM1.

i have LT's with ORY and a stock catback and it sounds great but everyone who heard my car before the engine replacement says my car should be louder so i'm goin with a SLP dual dual muffler. for your choice i'd say go with hooker . . . course i'd really suggest true duals with sweet thunder chambered mufflers that sounds the best and i miss having it

I wanted to get the true duals with sweet thunders. But they dump at the axle.

She wants the pipes out the back. It is her daily driver.

Im just the *** that wrenches on it.

SO gotta make her happy

I would go with hooker catback as well!! I have magnaflow and want to get rid of it for tru duals. but if i could pick a catback all over again, i would go with Hooker.

i might put a true dual set-up back on the car again, i was just talkin with my exhaust guy this morning when he was fixing a pipe on my 87 and i asked him about a certain way to run it and he said no problem and he can do it i'll do my sway bar upgrade first then i'll get this done after i have the rear rebuilt
