LS1 LS6 intake

Can someone tell me if an LS6 intake was made w/ the egr provision on top of the area behind the throttle body, like the LS1 intakes. I have a friend who just bought an LS1 to put in a RX-7 and his runners on his intake look smaller than mine. I purchased my car used w/ Borla catback, and a whisper lid. I have since done further upgrades, long tubes, mufflex y pipe, and gears. If anyone knows this info for me, if they did produce the LS6 intake in this form would anyone happen to know the part # for it.

no, the ls6 intake does not have the egr provisions.

Thanks, it's just kind of odd that my runners are bigger than the ones on my friends 98 LS1

the runners are the same size. i swapped my 98 ls1 intake for an 03 ls6 intake. the plenum volume on the ls6 intake is bigger but other wises its the same as the ls1 sans egr provisions.

Man I guess I need to tell my friend to up his prescription on his glasses. I thought they looked the same to me, but he swore my runners were bigger. I was just curios for arquing rights w/ him. I never heard of the LS6 having the egr provision on top, but he said they did make them. Thanks again for the clarrification of my issue.
