I tried 30" sweet thunders in place of my LPP glasspacks, and I thought they sounded poopy. I put my LPPs back on. I thought sweet thunders sounded great on video clips on the internet, but just didn't like them in real life.

So, go with the dynomax bullets. I don't know if they'd sound similar to my LPPs, but I'm positive they sound better than sweet thunders.

And as far as dynomax bullets being too loud, no way. I drove around with an open x-pipe for a couple weeks and loved it, so there's no way a bullet would be too loud. That is, of course, just one more opinion.

I like my dynomax bullets. Very deep rumble at idle and lets you know I am there at WOT.

I've had the bullets and now I have the Sweet Thunders. I liked the bullets. I like the Sweet thunders. I would say I prefer the tone of the ST's over the bullets. It's got more of a "quality" to it if that makes any sense, as opposed to just being a loud deep sound like I got out of my bullets.

Problem with these posts are, my opinion will differ from the next guys, and his will differ from the guys after him, etc, etc...

Best advice I can give is listen to your ears... They will tell you what you like.

Lots of votes for bullets and sweet thunder, but really no love for the spiral flows. Why is that? Do they really sound that bad? Do they kill power?

I am considering going to TSP true duals but the car cannot be louder than 100db at 50 ft (Per the SCCA Solo Rules). With my ARH's, Catted Y and Magnaflow catback it routinely comes in at 93db.

Powersticks.

The bullets on my TSP duals were too loud even for me, and I like loud cars. I think it was a combination of the mufflers being put in backwards (baffle openings faced the exhaust exit) and the direction of the turn-downs, but I drove the car for a week before I had to park it and swap them out. I loved how my Lane's setup with bullets sounded, though.

Bullets here. Love them. Although not my DD...

My neighbors said my LT/ORY/GMMG was louder and didn't sound near as good as the LT/TSP Dynomax setup. The rasp of the LT/GMMG setup actually made it sound louder then the dumped true duals.

Just got the TSP Dynomax bullets installed. I love it alot better than magnaflow. It honestly is not loud at all even being cammed. It sounds good. Havent really noticed too much drone and its not unbearable.

These "bullets", are you guys talking about the TSP Bullets that come with the TSP TD system on their site? Or are you guys replacing it with something else? I have the TSP TD exhaust that is shown on the site and I'm thinking I should have left my Pacesetter Y pipe and SLP LM2 on.

Yes. It should be the 3" TSP duals with dynomax bullets dumped. I just replaced my ory and magnaflow and my duals setup blows magnaflow away. You will not be disappointed.

Well I mean they are on the car and I think they sound like ***. I guess I am like an old guy and don't like loud ****. Seems like there is not tone to it just really loud. Hopefully once I get my cam in it will sound better. If not I'm either selling it or trying single chamber flows on the X pipe.

I bought the TSP kit used with Spriral flows and didn't really like it. I then switched to 12" Dynomax bullets and loved it. I had this same setup on my old Lt1 car so I knew I couldn't go wrong. If you want loud at idle and WOT, get the Bullets.

Vids below of my car.
