I have Dynomax Bullets and could not be more pleased. Quiet enough when cruising at low RPMs to easily hold conversation, good bark at part throttle, and people hear me from far away at WOT. It screams and has an almost vette-like refined sound to it. I have had nothing but compliments. ZERO rasp. I have a couple sound clips on my friends fb if you want those...

Myself love the way they sound at any RPM range. They are loud just like i like it but sound good. Not crazy loud at cruiseing but wait until you open it up.

Sweet thunders hands down for true duals. Only reason I'm getting rid of mine is because someone else built them for their camaro and I bought them. They don't fit right on my car. But yes, sweet thunders all the way!

My friend actually heard my car from like 1/2 mile away when I was racing a Challenger. Like I said, very mild at low RPMs, but screams up top. I heard what you heard about Dynomax, but it was definitely wrong because it is not just flat out loud the whole time.

heres the vids of my friends facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/video/?of=13...ubj=1304580169

cameras dont pick up sound that far, after the video shuts off, my friend said he could here me the whole time I was on it, no matter how far I was.

Yes,they sound pretty damn sick. Are they dumped? Thanks for the vids.

I wish I could hear both sweet thunders and bullets in person.
Also,I hope im not going to regret doing tds after I get the stall and cam.

I like the bullets better myself. They give a little deeper of a tone then the sweet thunders do. FWIW I had the bullets on my car and thought they were great.

Before the axle. And whether you regret it or not depends on how big your converter is, as well as the gearing. Personally, I wont mind the extra noise.

I had TSP TD's with bullets and hated it. Sold it off the car and let it sit in the driveway untill I built some exhaust. Way to loud and noisy with zero tone. Just loud. That was with stock converter and 2.73's. I remember a WOT pull on the highway and when I went by a car my ears were ringing afterwards. That part is cool with me but it was just stupid loud throughout the entire RPM range. The guy I sold them to loved them to death though so it's really all what ya like. I ended up with with custom H-pipe TD's with Moroso Spirl Flows. WAAAAYYY better tone and sound. Throaty as hell at idle and lower RPM and still screams at WOT. I've been heard over a mile away doing doughnuts and the people said it sounded like i was down the road. That was around midnight though so pretty quite. I think I have a video somewhere.

Edit. Found the video and this was with LT's the TD's and Spiral flows. I didn't get on it at all but it's decent quality sound. I need to get a new video with the cam and heads.

H pipe vs X pipe will create a sound difference, and personally Spiral Flows sound like ***. I dont know how you think it has a good tone, must be all down to the H pipe. My car has a great tone to it, but opinions are like ********, everyones got one.

Sweet Thunders are my favorite, they seem to have the best quality sound, I'll be installing some on my car in the near future

Iv been doing alot of searching on these different mufflers and so far from what I can find the sweet thunders are 2.5 compaied to 3" for the bullets. Is that true?
Not that it will matter cause 2 2.5" tds are enough to support 500hp without restriction anyway hmmm

Had bullets on my old set of duals, have bullets on my new set of duals, and wouldn't do it any other way. Pondering picking up some Power Sticks when I have a little extra money to spend, just to toss them on and see what the difference in sound is.

I think the Sweet Thunders are only a 2.5" flow path for the same overall OD compared to bullets, but I don't know what sort of real-world effect that'd have, or if it would even be measurable.

I've had the dynomax bullet and sweet thunder. Sweet thunder was very raspy so I ditched it. Bullet is nice and deep sounding screams up top and not raspy.

Dynomax Bullets hands down!
